Our Tail Extensions are fully hand woven and secured on strong double cord loops or braided horsehair loop and all Tail Extensions are 100% pure horsehair. All our products can be washed, conditioned, trimmed, braided and treated just as you would treat your horses own natural tail.

Colours

A range of 10 colours are available that will suit most horses, including:



Alternatively, you can send a sample of your horse's tail, and we will custom match just for your horse. All tails attach to the base of the horse’s dock, so be sure to collect your hair sample from this area.

Lengths

We can offer a range of length of hair from 24” to 43”. If required, Tail Extensions of 45-46”can be custom made for that extra length, perfect for those lovely long quarter horse tails. All tails are weighed to ensure consistency and value for money.

Also available are a variety of thicknesses. For the horse or pony with an average tail that needs just a little filling use a Small Tail Extension. A slightly thin tail may need a Medium extension. A very thin tail will need a Large or even an Extra Large Tail Extension. Having the right length and thickness for your horse will ensure they have the prettiest tail on show!

For the hobbyist, craftsperson or anyone restoring a Rocking Horse, Equine Effects can supply a Rocking Horse Hair Kit. Consisting of a Mane to your required length, and a standard tail the kit is perfect to add or replace to your rocking horse or even carousel horses.
